People all around the world are striving to rebuild, preserve, and maintain our wildlifes' natural resources, habitats, trailways, and flyways. And I am happy to be a part of this world wide crusade, knowing that for much of our wildlife and natural resources, it is the only true hope for survival, and the only hope of future generations experiencing nature and wildlife as God intended it to be. ![]() Every winter Billions of birds fly south to find warmer, more desirable, temperatures. ![]() Alot of other animals, reptiles, insects, mammals migrate as well. ![]() Animals migrate for different reasons, such as better climate changes, better food sources, and safer places to raise their young. ![]() Birds can migrate through places where the altitudes are so high , that there is hardly any oxygen at all. ![]() In the day time , migrating birds use their visual abiliti es, following mountains, oceans, forrests, and other landmarks to guide them. ![]() Some birds travel in the dark of night, and must rely on sounds they hear, or the stars from above. ![]() Some animals use other resources , like the earths magnetic field, to guide their migrations. ![]() |
