Did You Know?

A birds tongue has a bone in it.Some birds use it to open nut shells , and  woodpeckers use it to help them drill holes into wood.

Birds necks have more vertabrae than mammals, which gives them more flexabilty to see from all directions.

Some of birds bones are hollow inside, which is what makes them so light weight.

Most birds molt at least once a year, but grow new feathers back in place of the lost.

Corpus Christi Seagulls are very friendly birds
